Milo Harper
Described as "a player of natural charm and flair", Milo Harper is gaining a reputation as one of the leading young harpists from the UK. He is currently in his 3rd year studying at the Royal Academy of Music with Head of Harp, Karen Vaughan and Professor Emerita Skaila Kanga.
Milo has been a prizewinner in harp competitions in Hungary, Italy and the UK, and also a ‘Focus on Youth’ soloist at the 2017 World Harp Congress in Hong Kong. He attended the Junior department of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama where he was taught by Ruth Faber and during this time was appointed Principal Harp for the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain.
Milo is the harpist for the European string orchestra ‘LGT Young Soloists’; described as "clearly one of the finest youth orchestras in Europe". He has recorded two CD’s with the orchestra for Sony/ RCA Red Seal Records and toured with them in December 2017 as a soloist in Hong Kong and Singapore.
