Teenage Harp Course: 9th - 13th August 2011

Harp Course for teenage children aged 14 - 18 Minimum standard - grade 3 or equivalent
Harp coaching by Ruth Faber & Eleanor Turner (winner of Cardiff European Harp Competition 2007)
Maximum number of students 18.

Overview

Registration is at 2.00pm on 9th August with the first event commencing at 3.00pm.

The course is designed for teenage children aged 14-18 years old. Students will work in small groups on technique and solo repertoire, and also together in a harp ensemble. Each student has a practice room, and the opportunity to take part in a harp maintenance workshop.

Leisure activities include shopping in Clarks Village, a visit to Glastonbury Tor and the use of Millfield School's indoor swimming pool and other sports facilities. There will be a celebrity recital given by Eleanor Turner (sponsored by Vining Harps), and the course will end with a student concert.

Student Concert
